"I was a customer of State Farm from 2017 until a few days ago. I had an auto policy and a home owners policy. In the last two years, I was laid off from my job twice and lost my husband to addiction. I worked very hard to stay afloat with all of my responsibilities and I communicated with my providers, including State Farm. I was making payments that exceeded my monthly payment to attempt to resolve a past due balance from when I was out of work. However, I received a text that said if I didn't pay the full past due amount (appx $275), then my auto policy would be cancelled for nonpayment. I sent a $100 payment the day before this text was sent. It was all I had. I did not receive any response from Jason or his team. It has been a hassle for the last 3-4 years because no one seems to know what is going on. There were errors in my bills and I spent way too much time on the phone trying to resolve them with Jason directly and he was clueless. I couldn't log into my account or my app and he didn't know how to help me. I couldn't access my cards and was told that was on me to figure out. So I reached my limit and moved on. I'm still in the process of cancelling my homeowners policy, but I have coverage from Progressive and they have been wonderful. I am paying half of what I was paying for identical coverage. I would not recommend State Farm for insurance and would not recommend Mr. Dickelman or his team if you are expecting any kind of customer service."
